In a world that is requiring us to choose green, alternative products to heal our bodies and our planet, founders Hannah DuVon and Diane Moriconi were inspired to start Living Green Marketplace. Our philosophy is built on the Native American Indian concept of "Hozho" a Navajo Indian word that means beauty, balance, and harmony with nature. This tenet of living in harmony with our environment is key to healing our earth. Living Green Marketplace seeks out and selects products that tread lightly on mother earth, but also possess beauty, innovation, and creativity in design. We also care about the welfare of people on our planet. We choose products manufactured in sustainable ways and with fair trade practices whenever possible.

We believe in leading by example. We strive to reduce our carbon footprint by the way we do business in the following ways... We buy clean energy (carbon-free) to run our business. We reuse packaging and recycle materials whenever possible. We also use post-consumer recycled materials and natural sustainable materials for our product packaging. We are always looking for more environmentally harmonious ways of doing business. This is our commitment to our planet, and our local and global community.
